These are the terms of use for the SiteFlash website at siteflash.co.uk. They explain the rules for using the site and what you can and cannot rely on when you read it. Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. About these terms and who we are
1.1 These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses siteflash.co.uk (the "site"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.
1.2 In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SiteFlash. "You" means the person using the site. SiteFlash is a trading name. The business is run by one person. It is based in Northolt, West London, and designs, builds and hosts websites for construction and trade businesses across the UK.
1.3 You can contact us in any of these ways:
- Email: alket@siteflash.co.uk
- The enquiry form on our contact page
1.4 These terms cover the website only. If you become a client, the service we provide is governed by our separate terms of service. If the two conflict about the service we provide to you, the terms of service apply.
1.5 Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and our cookie policy explains our position on cookies. Both apply alongside these terms.
2. Using the site
2.1 You may use the site to find out about us and our services and to get in touch with us. You may view the site, and print or save pages, for your own reference in deciding whether to work with us.
2.2 You must not:
- scrape, harvest or republish the site or any part of it, by hand or with software;
- use automated tools to submit the enquiry form;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or the systems that receive our enquiries;
- overload the site or the form with traffic or submissions;
- send us anything that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory or misleading, that infringes anyone else's rights, or that contains someone else's personal data without their permission;
- pretend to be someone you are not, or request a free homepage concept for a business you have no authority to act for.
2.3 We may discard, block or decline to answer any submission that breaks these terms or appears to be automated or abusive. We may report unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.
2.4 The site is for businesses. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.
3. Intellectual property
3.1 The text, design, code, images, video and logo on the site belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. Content supplied by our clients, such as their logos and photographs, belongs to them.
3.2 Apart from the use allowed in clause 2.1, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or adapt any content from the site, or use it on another website or in any other material, without our written permission. To ask for permission, email alket@siteflash.co.uk.
3.3 The name "SiteFlash" and our logo may not be used without our written permission, and must never be used in a way that suggests we endorse you or are connected with you when we are not.
3.4 You may link to the site, provided you do so in a way that is fair and lawful and does not suggest an endorsement or connection that does not exist.
4. The work shown on this site
4.1 The site shows two kinds of work. It is important that you know which is which.
4.2 Live client websites. These are websites we have built for real businesses, which are named on the site.
4.3 Concept builds. These are demonstration websites we built to show what we can do for a particular trade. They are for fictional businesses and are labelled as concepts on the site. The concept builds are:
- Peak Roofing;
- AquaFit Bathrooms;
- GreenScape;
- TDP Construction;
- Swift Plumbing & Heating;
- BrightSpark Electrical;
- Crown Painters;
- Hartley Extensions.
4.4 The businesses in the concept builds are fictional, and the details shown on those sites are for demonstration only. Any resemblance to a real business of the same or a similar name is unintended. A concept build is not a client of ours and is not evidence of results achieved for a client.
4.5 If you run a real business and believe a concept build could be confused with yours, email alket@siteflash.co.uk and we will look at it promptly.
5. Prices and service information
5.1 The prices and package details on the site are a guide to what we currently offer. They can change. Larger or more complex websites are quoted individually.
5.2 Nothing on the site is a binding offer. A contract between us is made only when you subscribe to a package, and it is governed by our terms of service and the price shown to you when you subscribe.
5.3 We take care to keep the site accurate and up to date. Even so, it may contain errors or be out of date, and we do not promise that it is complete or free from errors.
6. Blog articles and figures we quote
6.1 The articles on our blog are general information for trade businesses. They are not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and they are not written for your particular circumstances. Take your own advice before acting on them.
6.2 Our articles cite their sources. Where the site quotes a figure or a finding from a third party, we attribute it to its source. Those figures are the work of the organisations that published them. We do not promise that they are accurate, or that they are still current when you read them.
7. No guarantee of results
7.1 We do not guarantee search engine rankings, website traffic, enquiries or sales. They depend on things outside our control, such as search engines, your competitors and your market.
7.2 Descriptions of what a website can do for a business, and examples of work for other businesses, are illustrations. They are not a promise that you will get the same result.
8. Links to other sites
8.1 The site links to other websites, including our clients' websites, Google Maps and the sources we cite. The links are there for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their availability.
8.2 Except where we say that a website is our own work, a link does not mean we endorse the other website or anything on it.
9. Availability
9.1 We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it at any time without notice.
9.2 If the enquiry form is not working, please email us instead.
10. Our responsibility to you
10.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10.2 The site is free to use and is provided for general information. Subject to clause 10.1, and as far as the law allows:
- we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied into these terms;
- we are not liable for any loss of profit, business, revenue, contracts, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content.
10.3 The site is written for business users. If you use it as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, and we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
10.4 This clause is about the website. Our responsibility for the service we provide to clients is set out in our terms of service.
11. Changes to these terms
11.1 We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the site, our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
11.2 The version shown on the site when you use it is the version that applies to that use. Changes to these terms do not change a contract already made under our terms of service.
11.3 If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continue to apply.
12. Which law applies
12.1 These terms, and your use of the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
12.2 The courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute about these terms or the site. If you are a consumer who lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring a claim in your local courts instead.
